So I am asked why a lot. I think that it is a question we are all asked a lot. It is also one that we ask a lot. Why now? Why me? Why us? Why did that happen? Why? It is a simple question, but the answers are usually complex. As parents we are all guilty of "because I said so, that is why." Well, at least I know I am and it is one response I try to steer away from. I try to always explain the why. Whether it is to my child, my husband, my mom, a friend, or anyone. I try to give them a why, if it is important enough to ask, I feel it is important enough to answer. My clients, I will ask why to. Why are you moving? I cannot wait to hear their answers, jobs, schools, neighborhood, just ready for a change, the list is endless. So I am doing some self examination right now and going to explain my why.
